First time

I've always wanted a place to rant and to spout my opinions. I thought the internet would be a good place to start. I've never been normal. Thats probably the most important thing about me. I might not be normal but I know what I want and I'm not afraid to go after it. Being a senior in high school under normal circumstances is hard enough, being a girl and being a girl going into a male dominated field is even more difficult. I want to be a mechanical engineer. That is a field that is hard enough to get into but to be put down and to be looked down upon just because of my gender is never easy to deal with. This will be a place I can put my opinions and even if they never get read, at least I got them out of my system.
